STORMBREAKER
Like I said in my last post, I have started reading STORMBREAKER by Anthony Horowitz. The book starts with the death of Alex's uncle (Ian Rider) of whom he lived with and was raised by. He was left in the care of his American nanny (Jack) who is in her twenties and came to England for school. His uncle was a spy for MI-6 (British CIA) whose cover up was being a banker. The head quarters for MI-6 was a bank as cover up. Alex and Jack didn't know he was a spy. The police said that Ian was killed in a car accident, but Alex knew that could not be true. Ian would always wear his seat belt while driving and would make Alex do the same. At the funeral Alex noticed people from the "bank" who his uncle had never mentioned were his coworkers. Then when Jack and Alex returned to the house, his uncle's office (where Ian had never let Alex alone in) had been completely stripped clean of everything. After that Alex wanted to look at his uncle's car in the junk yard to make sure that it wasn't a crash. At the junk yard the car was sprayed with bullet holes. That is where I am in STORMBREAKER.
